Micardis 40 mg Tablets are a prescription medication used primarily to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks or strokes in patients at risk. Each tablet contains 40 mg of telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that works by relaxing blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood efficiently.
